LinkShare Web Services Tracking Sets New Standard

New York -- November 28, 2007 --

LinkShare, a leading pay-per-action marketing network, today announced the launch of its new Web Services sales tracking technology that will give advertisers enhanced security and real-time transaction data on an enterprise-level. Advertisers looking for the safest transfer of information while handling the richest amount of SKU data delivered real-time will benefit from LinkShare Web Services tracking.

"Our new Web Services tracking technology can be used to track any kind of transaction from any kind of creative on the wired web or the mobile web," said Steve Denton, president of LinkShare. "LinkShare's LSTrans was the first enterprise-level tracking solution, and once again we are first with Web Services-based, server-to-server real-time delivery of transaction data."

Unlike pixel or other tracking technologies dependent on browsers and cookies, this tracking solution allows advertisers to utilize a Web Service to push transaction-level data to LinkShare in real time instead of batch mode. Advertisers then receive a unique ID to verify the transaction. The unique ID makes this a fully verifiable and reliable enterprise-level tracking solution.

LinkShare's Web Services tracking is easy to install and manage, and provides enhanced security measures. Because the Web Services tracking can integrate into an advertiser's order confirmation page, there is no need to install any special software behind the firewall. To get started, LinkShare provides an API and sample code, and uses standard web protocols to simplify integration into any step in the order process.

LinkShare also offers enhanced security features on its Web Services tracking tool, including MD5 hashing with private cryptographic keys to identify and verify partners.

Advertisers that want the industry's most secure tracking platform can now choose from LinkShare's new Web Services Tracking or LinkShare's current LSTrans tracking technology, depending on their needs and reporting requirements.

LinkShare Web Services tracking is available immediately to advertisers. Click here to learn more.
